{"id":14,"date":"2023-05-01T18:46:32","date_gmt":"2023-05-01T16:46:32","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/new.agc-pforzheim.de\/?page_id=14"},"modified":"2025-03-22T16:29:41","modified_gmt":"2025-03-22T15:29:41","slug":"membership","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/agc-pforzheim.de\/?page_id=14","title":{"rendered":"Membership"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Membership of the Anglo-German Club Pforzheim is open to all speakers of English.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">All members of the community are welcome, there are no age restrictions and our members come from a wide variety of professions and backgrounds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">However, a good command of English is necessary in order to fully enjoy the benefits of membership.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The majority of our members live in the Pforzheim and Enzkreis areas of Baden W\u00fcrttemberg. About half of us are German and the other half British.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Members are entitled to attend all Anglo-German Club events and are kept informed of all matters of interest to English speaking people in our area and beyond.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The membership year runs from May, when we have our Annual General Meeting, to April of the following year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">All the proceeds from the membership fees and from other fund-raising events go toward subsidising the club&#8217;s events and outings.
